We bought into the BADCOCK lies, We put our heart & souls out on the limb. We had an 10yr history with BADCOCK and bought a franchise from the 'GOOD OLE BOY'S CLUB'. Than our dreams, where foiled with deception, we lost our home 30yr credit history, and had to file a 1.5 million dollar 'BANKRUPTCY' in the middle of your conversion to our building that is now in foreclosure. To make things worse, they still owe us our last check in the amount of 44,000.00. Two years later, we're still waiting.in case some are not familiar with BADCOCK & MORE it's a furniture store. This company sells low end furniture, appliances ect. We found that they have many complaints on their products, especially appliances. We want patrons to BEWARE of the services, and read the fine print. They say anything for your purchase, but... Just try to exchance their products. As for the purchasing of a franchise BEWARE... They make you sign a clause for mediation & arbitration, this is so when the time is RIGHT, They can take the store you built-remolded using your funds / credit and STEAL it back. They no you'll have to fight them for years and by that time the STATUE OF LIMITIONS can expire. As for us signing this agreement, we thought after a 10yr employment history, & 8YRS of ownership/friendships we had nothing to worry about. We always hear, THIS WON'T HAPPEN TO US...
