I second the first report on the basis that I have had the same expierience:

The Kamado Company, Kamado Distribution Company, J5 Design and its owner, Richard Johnson refuse to fulfil orders which are paid for, refuse to honor their 'lifetime warranty' and refuse to refund money. They do not answer emails or telephones and will not allow customer complaints to be filed on their 'public' bulletin board. I personally am still owed either money or parts after over a year of waiting.

Richard Johnson and his family (Laura Johnson, Richelle Johnson, Deborah Johnson) and his employees have lied to me many times before finally just ignoring ALL communications channels. They refuse to admit that their product is defective and refuse to admit ANY wrongdoing to the point that they lie to their existing customer base stating that there are no problems whatsoever, or that they are ignoring a HUGE backlog of customer complaints.
