Gary William Faulkes, Kenlite Gunite
Manufactures invoices, increases price AFTEr work is complete saying he made a mistake

I concur with the gentlemen from Agoura. Mr. Faulkes of Kenlite Gunite, who is both a contractor and a lawyer, is a liar. He verbally contracted to do our work for one price, never gave us a written contract — post work he said he made a mistake reading our plans, and also that he had paid all his materials suppliers in advance — so he needed to charge more. Then showed up with an invoice for even more — demanding tp be paid in CASH. We then received a 20 day prelim notice from the concrete supplier who told us they had not been paid. Mr. Faulkes never did pay them — we did with a jointly made out check.

We then discovered that Mr. Faulkes had no workmen's compensation for Kenlite Gunite. Mr. Faulkes, despite reepeated requests, REFUSED to give us his license number. Then illegally placed a mechanics lien for EVEN more money on our home. We have had to hire an attorney to get this illegal lien removed from our home. Do not hire this man.
