Our new home was delivered in Sept. 2001. It was constructed with the wrong elevation. A gable was added to the front that we did not wish to have. We were told it made the house look better..., we don't think so. Ryland refuses to correct this problem. Our driveway was supposed to be concrete, but turned out to be asphalt. Ryland refuses to correct this problem. We were told the trim inside our home would be painted with semi-gloss paint. The whole house is flat. Ryland refuses to correct this problem. Ryland's own monotony policy prohibits same model and color scheme building next door, but our neighbor has the exact same model and elevation and the exact same siding. Ryland was informed of this prior to siding being installed but refused to make any change. The window manufacturer has stated our windows have a defect in the window and screens. Ryland has done nothing to correct this problem. Our kitchen and foyer floors of sheet vinyl have both failed. Several homes in the community have had the underlayment seperate from the subfloor.
