I purchased a sofa sectional for my Corporate Headquarters in the upscale community of Naples Florida (office is a block from the Beach). My goal was to have a sofa in our office for clients.
I bought a new sofa from Haverty's. I recieved from the delivery an incomplete sofa that missed 5 pillows and was dirty! The scheduled another delivery, missed that date, failed to call me and then had to reschedule another date. So far that was three full days I missed ("I bill my clients at 150.00 per hour, so do the math Havertys!").
The delivered another sofa. But this time it was missing only 3 pillows and was severely ripped on one side! I went back to the store and asked "Exactly what kind of quality control do you have, IF ANY?".
I am still waiting for my sofa. I paid in full almost one month ago and yet to have anything for my clients to sit on. I live and work in a small influential community (reason Haverty's is here), and I personally cannot quarentee positive statements about "that company".
The phrase "word of mouth" is extremely popular in Naples (and my industry)!
