Ripoff attempt with substitute gift Cuisinart Stainless Steel Grind & Brew Coffeemaker worth $50 less than purchased item We

Ordered a Cuisinart Stainless Steel Grind & Brew Coffeemaker with Thermal carafee for $149.99. Received Black plastic Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffeemaker with glass carafee shown on their web site for $99.99. Contacted them and they reshipped correct item and charged me a second $149.99.

I shipped the inferior coffeemaker back and they said they credited my account but it never showed up. I had to write to my credit card company to get the credit posted.

Chef's provided no compensation for the hassle and I've since found the coffeemaker for $20 less than I paid. If you order a gift from them make sure they send what you ordered and got charged for.
