On Halloween, we saw most of our neighborhood. And, many of us gabbed about things that concerned neighbors and what is happening. We heard about Mystic Pools and the horrible situations that they caused to residents of our general area. Due to that, I looked on Google to see if any of these problems were online. And, I found consumer complaints.
I wanted to see what, if anything, is being done to criminally prosecute Jim and/or Beverly Owen. After looking at the Register of Contractors pages and checking out the Administrative Law Hearings of Arizona, which are all listed on the internet, with their full pages of fact finding, I cannot believe these people are walking around free. They really belong in jail.
Go to this website: and click on the option of "Search Administrative Law Judge Decisions". Then, go all the way to the bottom of the new screen and click on "DECISION SEARCH". From there, select "Registrar of Contractors" for the agency, and in the option of "Matter description" type in "Mystic". Then, click on the "Search" option at the bottom. No other info needs to be written or clicked.
You will see cases that went to hearing. You will also see how the Owens took money from people, the day before, the day of, and knowingly accepted large sums of money, demanded large sums of money, when they knew they were OUT OF BUSINESS.
The Administrative Law Judges all found in favor of the complaints and soundly against Jim and Beverly Owen.

Their license was suspended and then revoked due to their failure to be HONEST or Law Abiding.
Jim and Beverly Owen, along with Renee Cooperman and Mike Jurado are horrid people without conscience.
I wrote this only after reading the "Smart Guy" comment about how they are basically the victims and they are such good people. My stomach rolled at his ignorance.
Smart Guy, listen up chump. These are NOT nice people. They might drink and laugh at the party bar with you, but they STOLE money and they USED people.
Jim and Beverly Owen and Renee Cooperman and Mike Jurado and all of Mystic Pool are best described as criminals. They are disgusting criminals. They knew they were ripping people off. They are worse than scraping the bottom of the poop barrel.
