Our home remodeling went wrong from the beginning. After discovering the first lie, we should have pushed for contract changes, but we were too trusting.
Since first hiring our contractor in 11/01, our remodel has been a dragged out mess with weeks where no one showed up at our home to work.
Actual work did not begin until 4/27/02 and was to be completed in 3-4 months. Since 10/3/02 there have been periods of 2-3 weeks where no worker has showed up at our home. We have to make threatening calls to get anyone to show up for even a day.
Some of the broken agreements have been, picking up trash after working - trash has been left for weeks until we hauled it off to the dump, our roof was not completed and our house flooded 3 times - over more than a 6 week period, razor blades left on floor after work, great gaping holes left to the outside - animals could walk into our home, not to mention any burgler.
Last attempt to have a deadline or schedule to complete project was done on 1/9/03. Workers showed up on 1/13 and 1/14/03, none seen since that time - no phone calls either.
This company does not care about their customers.
