After being completely ripped off by Tim Hayes and his company Fenceworks of GA or Georgia, I decided to take action to prevent others from being ripped off as well. I thought to look for others who have also been ripped off by Tim Hayes and Fenceworks of GA, Inc. And low and behold I come across countless complaints and have compiled them for others to review before considering bringing this company into your home.
Keep in mind... These are only a few of the recent ones and this companies customer complaints continue to date back further and this company has also had multiple complaints filed with the better business bureau which can be easily found on the bbb website.

No show, no call
The sales office was very polite in setting an estimate appt. And we were supposed to meet Earl at 1 PM at our house. Earl did not show up. We waited over an hour, still no show. I called the office and was connected to Earl who was 'tied up' and could not make my estimate appt... But he did say that he called to leave my husband a message. When I asked what time he called, he told me 12:45 which was only 15 minutes before our meeting time! My husband never received a message from Earl regarding his 'tied up' day. Anyways, now we know to only trust a company with several positive reviews from Kudzu.

BEG TO DIFFER
I definitely had 2 appts that were missed by your salesman, like I said, a month apart. Originally I called the number I saw on a truck in traffic and he called me back. Also, I got a total of 4 estimates, not six. And what are the chances 3 of the 4 showing up at the same time? His estimate appeared in my mailbox after I placed the initial review and after I had told him I would not reschedule a 3rd time. Your work may be fine, but my experience was not.

Fence review
Tim Hayes quoted the wrong amount, and then did not honor the contract price. Did not know material of fence, and quoted incorrect material. Estimated time for fence was 7-10 days... And it took 31 to get the final product.installation was great, but getting there was terrible.

Fenceworks of Georgia Craftsmenship
I was a little hesitant to use this company after noting that they were neither register with the American Fence Association or the Better Business Bureau and that this company has already had three complaints with the BBB, but I went with them anyways. It turned out that the craftsmanship and level of ability that this company has, is very low. My wood fence is not straight at all, with unattached boards, sagging gates that will not close and worst of all, multiple sharp nails poking out of the entire fence. After only a month, the fence has literally warped to the point of needing to be replaced. What gets me is that I have called them over 10 times, only to be told that someone will contact me, but no one ever does. That is beyond bad business! Don't use this company.

This Company has Gone Down Hill
Well it seems as though this company has gone down hill. I in no way shape or form, have received what I paid for. I am also upset to see that the last review from this company was written by the company itself, at the same time it was responding to the last unsatisfied customer. I hate to tell them, but they are not fooling anyone and should not abuse kudzu. Back to what I am upset about... My fence was "flat out", built incorrectly and with very poor craftsmanship. Judging by this companies other reviews, I am not the only one that feels this way! My gates don't close properly and there are multiple nails protruding from my fencing. I had my fence built months ago, and since, my dog and one of my sons have sustained injuries from it. The fence was un-level and worst of all, 70% of the post were extremely loose right after completion. The fence does not look good or serve its purpose as I had hoped. I found that the owner was very rude and unpleasant to deal with and I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Good luck with your search for a better fencing company than this one.

Poor Quality & Value
Our company found this particular company here on kudzu and had them out to our business for an estimate. The staff seemed a little unprepared, but they were nice overall. We contracted them to construct a wood fence, but were very disappointed in the craftsmanship and quality of the product. Contractually, they did nothing wrong and we have not asked them to repair anything, but again, we did not get the fence we wanted. Yes, they could possible fix it, but I don't see how it would be possible without reconstructing the whole fence and that is the last thing we want. Some of the problems we incurred were; sagging gates, warpage and loose and unleveled post. Had we read this companies most recent reviews, there is no way we would of used them. And we move on...

7 Months and $6000 and Still Not Right
Let me start by saying that I called around and the price at fenceworks was competetive with other fence companies. I chose to go with Fenceworks since I thought I would be dealing with an individual, and be helping out small business. WRONG!!! I live in a subdivision that has only one kind of fence. I told Tim Hayes that it had to be that fence and it had to look exactly like the rest of the neighborhood. No problem he says, and orders the fencing. After it is installed, I noticed the gates did not match the rest of the neighborhood. So, he says that he ordered the right fence and I would have to pay for replacements. I explained how that was wrong since I specifically wrote on the contract that it had to match the community. So, he then said he would order the right gates. Four months later someone comes to replace the gates, but they only have material for 3 out of the 4 gates. So, I'm told by the workers they will come back and fix the last gate that they need more material. So, here I am 7 months later and still the fence is not right, and of course there has been no communication from Tim Hayes, unless I badger and badger him. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER work with Tim Hayes or Fenceworks again! Poor service and poor communication sum this Fence provider up!!!

Still waiting...
I wish I could leave good feedback on how well my fence looks but I can't even get Tim with the company to come out and give me an estimate. I call and he tells me he will be there later that day. No show. I call the next day and he will be there at 4pm. No show. He calls at 4pm to tell me he has to change the time to 6pm. No show. I call him at 7pm and he "lost track of time." He promised he would be out the next day to do the quote. No show. Now he will not return phone calls. I find this level of customer service completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this company at all.
This is not acceptable Tim Hayes!
