Land America Home Warranty
Refused to repair or replace covered item

I purchased home warranty contract with maximum upgrade which covers (plumbing) FAUCETS. The handles of the existing lavatory faucet broke and Land America refused to repair or replace the handles because they said the handles were "ornamental". I say they are functional. How else do you control the water flow from the spout except with the handle! If I buy a boxed faucet new at the store, the handles are included as part of the unit. Land America refused to honor the contract upgrade option which I paid for to cover the lavatory faucet.
