Expensive LX 140 AC/heater (14000 btu) gave immediate trouble in first year when fan (cage type) self destructed. Obtaining replacement parts from this company very frustrating. Parts manager ALWAYS unavailable, left countless messages. Receptionists were USELESS, and couldn't have cared less. Customer Assistance is an oxymoron.
Now in the second season, unit is worthless. The motor overheats and shorts out the control board. Would cost over half of original price to fix. Once again, Soleus is not interested. I live in a suburb of Detroit, with a very limited summer season. It is unacceptable that a unit as expensive as this is now garbage.
