Colemanfurniture.com has a beautiful website offering all kinds of furniture for lower prices than what you can get retail. Buyer beware.
I purchased close to $6,000 worth of furniture and have yet to see it. I patiently waited the "4-6 weeks" as I was told. When I contacted Cordell Coleman to find out where my furniture was, I was on hold for an hour. I sent e-mails. No response.
Through a little bit of sleuthing, I found out that he has local wharehouses order the furniture for him. I found the wharehouse and contacted them myself. They actually had my furniture in the wharehouse... But they refused to release my furniture because they had not received payment from Mr. Coleman himself. I even somehow managed to talk to the delivery company that does the deliveries for Colemanfurniture. The guy expressed frustration himself because he had not even been paid by Coleman for the deliveries he had made to recent customers! So, not only have I been ripped off... So have the business partners that Cordell Coleman deals with.
I contacted my credit card company to begin a dispute, and they were gracious enough to provide a phone number for me that was not an 800 number - it was to Cordell Coleman direct. Guess what? Number disconnected.
So what happened to Cordell Coleman, hmmmm??? Took everyone's money and skipped town perhaps?
