My family made several long visits to this store and spoke to their "decorator." I found her very annoying but attended the sessions. We were ordering special length fringe for the bottom of our couch. We went thru many books until locating the desired item with the specific length. This decorator knew this... 19 inches was are desired length.
Wisely we paid by credit card the $900. We waited for the delivery. When none arrived we telphoned this annoying decorator and made inquiry.
Box arrived shortly thereafter crushed and opened. The color looked wrong but worse yet, it was not the desired length.
So, we immediately went to the story with the reciept. This was not a custom order but merely an order which had to come from their warehouse as it was more then they had in stock.
The moment we walked in the deocrator lied about our purchase and we recieved a hard time.
Thankfully we paid on AMerican Express and immediatly disputed the charge.
They finally took the item back but charged us a $300 restock fee FOR THE ERROR THEY MADE. I was infuriated.
Wrote to the Corporate headquaters and understood why their "decorator" was so nasty. Seems so is the Coroprate headquaters and they train them this way.
So... I have explained that I would be disputing their egegrious customer service, their stealing our money over this "restock fee' for their error and reporting them to every agency I can think off while taking them to small claims court.
When next you look for furniture, please pay attention to every detail if you feel you must shop with them AND TAPE RECORD the decorator who may be trained to lie just like ours was.
