Hello my name is Oscar * and due to a Severe Illness and an inability to work my family and I recently found ourselves, like Millions of Americans, facing Foreclosure. I spoke to all of my friends and family hoping that someone would be able to advise me as to what I should do next. But unfortunately for me and my family no one had any idea as to exactly what I should do, so one night I stayed up until probably around 3: oo oclock in the morning searching the Internet for some kind of a solution to our predicament. After all the Trustee Sale Date had been set and my Wife and I were beginning to panic.
After what seemed like a total exercise in futility, I came across a Company by the name of PROJECT HOPE 2008. Project Hope 2008 has two websites that I am aware of one is projecthope2008.org and the other is projecthope2008.com. I thought our prayers had been answered and after speaking with Scott Kennedy, the owner of the company, I was thoroughly convinced that the worse was over for my family and me. He promised not only to save our Home from the Trustee Sale, but also to get us a lower interest rate which would make it easier for us to make our payments.
Scott Kennedys assistant Jennifer Van Housen contacted me a short time later and stated that Project Hopes fee for saving our Home from Foreclosure and Lowering our Monthly Mortgage Payments would be $ 1,049.00. I thought to myself that we had truly been blessed, someone was going to help us out of the worse thing that had ever happened to me and or my family for just a little over a Thousand Dollars. I thought to myself this truly has be a miracle! So my wife and I begged and borrowed the Money from family and friends and paid Project Hope 2008 their fee.
At first everything seems as it should Scott asked me a lot of questions in-order to complete the Application, and told me that one of his Loss Mitigation Processors would be giving me a call shortly to walk me through the process. Well that was the last time I ever spoken to or heard from anyone at Project Hope 2008. I have left numerous phone messages and sent a myriad of e-mails but all have been to no avail.
My family has since been ordered to vacant the property and my wife and I have had to leave our two children with relatives while we try to get back on our feet. We are currently living out of our Car. I feel totally betrayed by Scott kennedy and Project Hope 2008.
If anyone out there is in need of Loss Mitigation Services, I beg you to do your due diligence and thoroughly research any Company that you may be considering, so that you do not find yourself in my families situation.
