Beware of American Home Shield. They claim to provide warranty services to your home appliances, but they don't like to honor claims. I have paid monthly premiums for years and when my 5 year old pool filter finally quit, they said it was not covered as it was not "normal wear and tear". The pool technician even told me that filters are only covered under manufacturer warranty for only one year. So now I'm stuck with an $800 repair on top of the $1000 I've paid in monthly premiums over the past two years!
Don't get ripped off like I did. Do not use American Home Shield
