I have a large manufactured home that needed leveled. He quoted me a price of $800 for a doublewide which was also listed on his website. When he arrived he said since the house was a double wide he had to charge me $1250.
I told him about his 10% off coupon online and then he procedes to inform me that is with the coupon price! I should have stopped and sent him on his way right there but I needed my home leveled. This was to include a year contract, which I have, where he would come out and relevel if need be.
Plus I noticed he pushed out a window in the process of his leveling and I informed him he had to come out and fix that plus the leveling problem.
I made several phone calls only getting a numerous amount of excuses. Matt Mize on several occassions sounded as though his was drunk stumbling over his words.
Not only that, I gave him an extra $200 to haul sand in to lay around the back of the house. The rest payable upon the completion of the job.
He made several excuses he was having trouble getting the sand and I told him, OK, then just return my $200 and relevel this house.
On several attempts to get my money back and him out here to fullfill the contract have been unsucessful.
In other words he just took my money, totally $1,450.00 for a simple leveling job on a manufactured home that took him and his friend less than two hours.
