Waited twenty years for a dishwasher, then I bought a G.E.-oops

I have waited 20 years to end my drudgery of hand washing my dishes. I was very excited when I finally got my new General Electric stainless steel dishwasher installed, but much to my dismay, the thing not only doesn't clean my dishes it has actually left streaking and PERMANENT rust stains on my dishes.

I contacted G.E. After the first couple of washings, and they sent out a repair technician. He informed me that G.E. Makes a great product, and that I should possibly turn up my water temperature via my water heater. I immediately got a plumber to come over and check the water temperature and raise it. It didn't help.

Since the first time the technician came out, he came out at least three more times with varying tips and suggestions aimed at improving the dishwasher and it's ability to wash. I have followed each of these to the letter, nothing works. About two weeks ago, another technician came out, and he suggested not putting in as much dishwashing detergent.

I called G.E. Again, and told them YES even G.E. Can produce a lemon every once in awhile, so now they will review what the technicians had to say and determine if I DESERVE a new dishwasher. Bet it comes back I don't. So I am screwed. For a $399.00 dishwasher, I may have to get a lawyer involved. Ridiculous-Just replace the damn thing. I will file with BBB, and state attorney's office, but my one year warranty will be running out, and I will most likely be stuck with a dishwasher that doesn't work. I don't know what G.E. Generates in income each year, but obviously my lemon of a dishwasher is too much for them to replace to make sure they have a satisfied customer.

I really need help, and would be interested in an attorney contacting me to help me with this. Unfortunately, it would have to be pro bono work, as a storm last night has one of my trees on top of my house, and my homeowner's insurance will only pay for the damage to the house-they won't help me remove the tree. Help. So I will have to pay a tree service to come out and get it out of the way of my driveway, so I can get my car out and go to work. Ironic huh?
