October: George Hadden & Timeshare Savings Network promised to sell my timeshare in 90 days; their fee was $684. I called several times and was told that there were "offers" in the works. Now the phone number is not active and I can't get in contact with the firm.
I received an email from a former employee stating that this firm was a rip-off Nov 15th. When I contacted my credit card company, they investigated and I was told that Timeshare Savings was a legitimate firm. I am going to contact the credit card company again and complain.
Email from employee:
Yesterday the sales office was shut down for working illegally without a telemarketing license. I am writing to let you know that you should immediately call your credit card company and STOP PAYMENT! On the friendlylenders.com charge that should have already showed. They have never sold, rented, nor do they have a legal department. I would without a question get a REFUND!
