Country Wide Home Loans
Unlawful entry/indecrepencies on all information

Ihave continued to keep journels on my encouter with Co. Wide for over a year. I have always let them know the circumstances on my loan. After the death of both my husband and mother in 6 months in I refinanced with them.in September I put the house up for sale, notifying them of this I was not but 1 month down when my realtor contacted me while showing the house that Co. Wide had entered the house, drained water heater, put chemicals in commodes etc without ever contacting my realtor or myself. I then did rent it in Jan 07 but had incurred added attorney fees, insurance fees you name it Co Wide had added it on. Nightmare.

I had always had insurance on the house which I faxed several times and mailed to the appropriate addresses given but still they added on more insurance causing my payments to become higher. Then my renters moved out without notice in Oct and I contacted Co Wide for help They finally mailed out a modification. I returned it with the money needed and approx. 2 wks later received my check back stating it needed to be certified funds. This was the end of Nov.

I continued to try and get information and help with all. Each phone call resulted in being transferred several times only to repeat my name, ssn, etc Then on 12/21/07 one rep told me that we could not reinstate the modification but I did qualify to start a modification again and she gave me estimated figures that would be needed to be sent in with the new modification papers which she said would be coming in approx. 10- 15 days.

I was also told that foreclosure date for sale was set for 2/5/08. Then Co Wide called my realtor and told her to remove her sign and lockbox. I called them and was told no the realtor should have not been told that, that I could do anything I wanted with property. Lease etc. Then on 1/8/08 my realtor went to show property and the locks had been changed. She called for them to overnight her a key and that never happened and we had several people to show the house to. I continued to call and was told that we could get a locksmith we did.

I have been told each and every time I called that not to worry that the sale date would continue to be moved back as long as the modification was pending. I have asked that the rep handling my account call me and always told within 48 hrs. No one ever called.

I again spoke to a rep asking if I could have someone fax me a statement so my people that wanted to lease w/option to buy could move in without worrying about having to move back out. I was told they couldn't do that. On 1/17/08 I was told when I called that the modification was still being worked on and that it would be soon.

On 1/22/08 I called and was told the same thing and that just wait and don't call they will call as soon as the modification is ok's to let me know the papers would be sent out to me. So I waited. Then on 2/1/08 late afternoon I received a message to call them. I called them back and went through the transferred to several people only to be told that I must send in $764.62 per a note they now had by 2/5/08 or the sale would go through. Why is it that no one at Co Wide tells the same story?

I called back 2/4/08 asking the same questions and transferred over and over again and still told I needed to send in money now and that the modification is still being worked on. Also I am told now that they could have given me a verbal or consent for the people I had that wanted to lease. A little too late I would say.

Bottom line I know I could not be the only homeowner that they have mislead. My concern is that they entered my home without contacting either myself or my realtor without it ever being in foreclosure. I never could get any one to explain that either. Just a run around constantly. I would love to know what action can I take. I was told by more than one realtor that I should look into a class action suit. I would appreciated any help in this matter.
