I found a home intercom box on this companies website that I liked and orderd from them.
They accepted the order (paid by Paypal) and shipped the product.
Product came in defective (the speaker did not work). I called to ask what I needed to go to get a replacement. I was told that the person who handles that isn't here.
Had to wait 3 days... Called back and was told quite rudely buy Stuart who appears to be the owner of this diseasterous mistake he thinks of as a business.
He spent 15 mintues telling me how he doesn't tell the secretary when he gives people the day off and that not everyone can get the same benefits when all I wanted to know was howo to get a replacement now that I had a hole in my wall too big for my old unit.
Finally, he told me to place another order and pay for it and that after I got that one I could send him back the defective unit and he would check to be sure it is defective then issue a refund.
I did as instructed and paid to return this $43 (including shipping) with delivery confirmation.
3 days later I see that the item was delivered and emailed to ask when I would get my refund. This was 10/30, item recevied back to them 10/29. I was told that I would have a refund on my paypal account 10/31.
I have emailed at least 2 times a week since then and as of today 12/11 I still do not have a refund.
Today all of a sudden there is now a restocking fee.
I paid shipping 3x. I have waited 5 weeks and NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN there is a restocking fee.
This company is a joke!
There are only 2 people that I have ever spoken to, Chavonne and Stuart.
Chavonne will only say that she can't tell you anything and Stuart is in desperate need of a customer service class.
Beware of this company.
I am going through all of this for $40, I can't imagine what it could be like for someone buying a large security system with these people if anything went wrong...
They don't care one bit about doing the right thing.
