Beware of the scams from these two security firms. They send people that do home installs who set you up with a security system. The system works pretty good for about three months (about the time the warranty expires on the unit) then the sensors eats up batteries and sometimes doesn't even work. Please don't try to call the customer (run around) service to try to get new units. You will get the biggest bunch of finger pointing B/S you have seen.
About the time someone does come out to your home they say the one they sold you was obsolete anyway, they will want you to upgrade to a better system about 150 to 1500 bucks depending on how many sensors you have and if you have the two way unit. Then the cycle begins again.
We've been through three systems of the two way units.
Then about the time we think you've resolved the problem the so called parent company "Pinnacle Security" sales people comes by and tells you again your unit is out dated and they have a better one and the other company is now out of business so you have to switch to theirs.
About the time the sales people are done with you they've moved on to a new location maybe even a country and all you get when you call is a voice mail and wonderful customer (run around) service again.
If you enjoy a life of cyclic frustration go for it but if not stay away from these jokers. Your better off dealing with a local company that deals with commercial and residential clients that have references in the community and from the local police department. It may be more expensive but in the long run you'll save yourself a lot of headaches.
Also, your told that your getting the top of the line 1500 dollar product. Sure that's what they sell it to you for. When they actually make a 1,000 profit per sale to pay the sales person, and the unit sells for about 99.99 over the internet... Ummmm... I wonder where does the rest of the money go. Oh yea, that monitoring service check with your local police department and you'll find it cheaper.
