Spencers TV And Appliance - Joseph S. Mgr No fulfilment on extended warranty coverage ripoff Mesa Arizona

We have owned a self cleaning/smooth surface oven before. When we purchased a GE appliance with Spencers we also purchased the extended warranty.in our second year or so of using the stove/oven I noticed that it just wasn't cleaning up very well using the self cleaning option. Even after extending the time from 3 to 4 hours. Too much stuff was left on the door and I told Spencers I wasn't sure if it was the operation of the stove or if something was really wrong in there. The door didn't seem to close tight.

After calling for service we were informed that our warranty did not cover the cleaning components. It covered other things though but that was of no use. I complained asking what good is a warranty if you can't have the cleaning components serivced for operation capability? I asked for the manager. He's not here; he'll call you back.

A few days later I call for the manager again. He's busy, he'll call you back. Another day and both phone lines to store have mailboxes and are full! The manager J. Sanders did manage to call me back and still insisted the warranty wasn't any good.

My husband wrote complaining about the losey warranty and asked how they could be so sure the problem wasn't covered when no one even came out to see if it was the cleaning components not performing in the first place!?!

We canceled the balance of warrenty with only about 6 mos. Left on it.
