Poor customer service and unethical business

Spent over $2,000 on a mattress set. The saleswoman stated that since my husband was unable to be there, that we had a 14 day period that if he didn't like the bed we could swap it out. I agreed and went ahead and purchased the mattress set. It was delivered and they did not bring all the necessary parts to properly set it up. I read over the warranty information and it clearly stated I needed these parts in order for my warranty to be in effect.

The first delivery guys didn't have a clue on what they were doing and just said they are contracted to deliver for Mathis Brothers and they weren't furniture experts. I decided to wait and contact Mathis Brothers and explain that what I needed. I contacted the saleswoman that I purchased it from, she was very rude and acted like she didn't want to talk to me at that time. I then insisted that I get this taken care of so she said that she would. I waited several more days and another truck showed up, again not the right parts to fix my problem.

I contacted her again and this time she referred me to her manager. This manager was extremely rude and said it wasn't his problem. I decided to go up to the store personally. I spoke to this same manager and again was treated poorly. I never raised my voice or cursed at him. I explained how that if they were not going to fix the bed correctly under the warranty, I wanted a refund. He explained that I would be charged a 10% restocking fee and that he was going to charge me for all the times the truck visited my house at $68 each visit. I stated that the saleswoman originally told me I had a 14 day window if we weren't satisfied with the bed, he said that is not their policy and he is over her so it doesn't matter what she said. After several minutes of discussion he said he couldn't do any more for me and wasn't his problem any more. I insisted that he make it right and he threatened me that if I didn't leave him alone he would call the police. This really upset me and I attempted to get my point across. He became verbally abusive towards me, saying I was a lunatic and the police were on the way. I chose to stop it there and leave the store.

While leaving I noticed I was being followed by two employees, I got into my car and noticed that they were writing down my license plate number. I stopped and asked them what they thought they were doing and one replied that it was to give to the police and not to come back. I went home very upset and spoke to my husband. My husband proceeded to contact the store and complain about how I was basically harassed. My husband was put on the phone with this manager again and again treated very rude. My husband said that he was going to talk to the news stations and newspaper if he didn't stop treating us like this and fix the bed correctly. This manager said that we could call everyone and it wouldn't matter. He said Mathis Brothers gives so much money to this community that nobody would care what we had to say about them. He went on to say that they didn't need our business and would prefer we shop some where else.

We have repeatedly tried to go above this manager several times but some how always get him. He claims we can't go any higher up. I have never been treated so poorly and unfair by a company I just spend that much money with. All I wanted was a bed that complied with their warranty and I feel it is their job to deliver and set it up in accordance with that.
