Rainsoft overfinances garbage product, sells contracts to fly by night finance companies Ripoff Chicago New Orleans

I was visited in New Orleans by a Rainsoft representative trying to sell door to door in New Orleans 4 years ago. I was trapped into an elaborate sales scheme for an inferior product that was extremely overpriced and over financed. Immediately after I reluctanly agreed to buy the home water softening system and its cases of trashy cheap liquid soaps. Rainsoft sold my final contract to a fly by night finance company that raised the interest percentage rate. That companies name is Castle Credit Finance out of Chicago Illinois. I pay them on time every month.infact I pay them 3-4 months in advance every time I pay so I can maintain a great payment record to keep my credit score as high as possible as I was a Hurricane Katrina victim and I am looking to buy a new house. It gets better. The loan specialist that I call to make payments by check over the phone has obviously not been documenting my payments. Today I got a letter in the mail stating that they placed a lein on my home and I cannot sell it until I pay them in full because I was delinquent in my payments. They agreed 3 months ago that I would not have a payment due until the end of April. Now the lein is impacting the sale of my house. To top it all off the Rainsoft system no longer works and it has no warranty! The soaps that they offer to save you money are a joke because you have to use 5 times the normal soap amounts to even start to clean your clothes. It has been a horrible $10,000.00 experience and I hope to discourage anyone from dealing with this crappy company. Go to Sears/Loews/Home Depot and buy yourself 2 or 3 of their units and save yourself about $7000.00 and buy yourself a vacation and a few years of real good soap.
