I scheduled my move a week in advance they called me the day before to confirm a time and I told them I wanted them at 11am because I couldn't get the keys to my new place until 10:30am. The morning of my move at 11am they were not at my home. I waited a few minutes and called them the dispatcher informed me that the crew was dispatched to a 'quick' move and should be to my home at 12:30pm. I went and checked in at my new apartment and before leaving I called to see if the crew was on their way. I was informed that 'quick' move was not going to be a couple more hours and I should expect them at 2pm. At 2:05pm I received a call saying they were on their way. I asked how long it would take them to get to me and the dispatcher said 15-20 minutes. 40 minutes later they were still not at my home. I called the dispatcher again and she said that they could not get a hold of the crew.
I called 20 minutes later and was told that they had stopped for lunch and were on their way. I asked specifically where they were and she gave me their location and then told that there truck had stalled but they would be there was someone came to fix the truck. A little after 3pm, they arrived at my home because of the lateness of everything I decided not to stay and watch them pack everything. I showed them what needed to be moved and what needed to stay and left.in less then an hour they were at my new place and started unloading. As they were unloading and bringing my things in I saw that they had brought things that I specifically told them not to bring because they were not mine. The crew leader started processing my payment and then he had the audacity to encourage me to tip them. They finished moving my stuff in I told them not to bother arranging anything so they literally dumped everything in my living room. They informed me everything was out of the truck and were on their way not a full hour had passed. But the rate for a three man crew is a minim three hours. I was quoted by other companies a two man crew and even my first quote with ALL MY SONS was a two man crew.
They were not gone 30 minutes when I noticed that my briefcase with my laptop in it was missing. I called the dispatcher and she said that the crew had checked the truck and there was nothing there. I told them to check again and they found it. I asked where they were located so I could pick it up and the dispatcher told me they were about to close but that she would put it in her drawer and I could get in the next business day. I told her no I was on my way to pick it up. I picked it up and headed back to my old place to return the things that the crew had taken that were not mine. When I got there I found they had left things that were mine behind.
Please do not use ALL MY SONS. They are inconsiderate and unprofessional.
