I purchased a Euro Futon on July 3. It is an appealing piece of furniture. That is the only good thing I can honestly say about it.
I had company on August 15. The first time we both rested our backs on the back of the futon the back supports broke. The framwork of this futon is heavy gauge aluminum, and has brackets welded to the back supports. The welded brackets let go and the part of the support that was bolted to the frame bent. I have had chairs with aluminum construction that lasted over 15 years.
I bought this futon as an alternative to spending hundreds of dollars on a sofa. I would have been better off saving my money and getting a real sofa.
