Bay furniture has taken large sums of money from hundreds of customers.in our case, we put down a considerable sum of money and when our merchandise did not arrive on time, they lied to us about why it didn't come.
Later, we found out that the order was never placed and they refused to fill our order or return our deposits.in our case seventeen hundred dollars.
Many have taken it to small claims court which is a waste of time since you still can't collect. Meanwhile Bay put an ad in the newspaper stating that they are working with manufacturers to "fill customers orders". (I have the article) That is a lie since it's been months and Bay hasn't contacted us at all. Two different lawyers told us that we will be lucky to get thirty cents on the dollar.
