I filed a claim with this company on Sunday 18th June. Four days later I have yet to have the issue resolved. The issue is that their customer service (and I use the word advisedly) reps cannot schedule a contractor to come out to my house and fix my broken dishwasher.
They have told me that company A would be coming, but company A never called. They told me company B would be at my house at 6.30 on Thursday 22nd June. Company B did not show up.
When I called to enquire as to the whereabouts of company B I was told that no, indeed, it would be company A that would attend - there was no record of company A in their system.
Needless to say, the contractor for company A (who has yet to show up) could not be reached either by AHS or by representatives from company A.
Several hours of phone calls have gone by. I work during the day, and of course in the evening when I can be home to receive service technicians, all of the contracted companies are effectively closed.
I pity everyone who has to work at AHS, but my pity only goes so far. These people have consistently lied to me regarding fulfilment of their side of a contract, providing false information and refusing to answer my queries as to when I could expect the situation to be resolved.
I caution anyone thinking of taking out a contract with these mendacious thieves to think very carefully before entering into any sort of business arrangement with ServiceMaster companies. I will be cancelling my contract as soon as they have finally repaired my dishwasher.
