First of all we can really relate to the holding of mail to allow the GEMB to charge bogus late fees. Yes! We have been there, done that. My remedy was from the second payment on, to pay online and print out my receipt with the time and date. I apprised them of this and voila!!! Wasn't late, However they did make me pay the late fee. Oh the payment was always paid early.
My carpet purchase in Jan.. From Carpet Spectrum, Memphis Tn. Has turned into a real night mare. The product is pitiful, over priced and the install was deplorable, with damages to my house, walls, and the carpet is crooked, ravelling, and wavy looks like a kid laid the pitiful thing. That's a whole nother story for this site. WHatever it takes. I have filled out the dispute form and to date other than a form letter no name, our complaints have gone neglected.
It seems that no matter who all is involved in these practices and thieving matters, it's pass the buck, and make it rain til the consumer can no longer swim. I do think if enough folks are made aware of this site, and the government/politics don't shut it down, then atleast these thieves will be uncovered to many many working people.
