Ripoff Rooms To Go experience rude cold and unaccomadating No resolution

I found Rooms To Go lacking in customer friendly environment, not to mention it's obvious prior being a "make money mentality". My overall assessment of this business, If you don't want to finance furniture with them, you're no good for their business.

Below is an email I sent to the RTG website. The Durham store manager contacted me and was very friendly, however it was obvious that his reason for contacting me and wanting to hear about my experience was to use as a "What NOT to do" training tool for his sales staff. Needless to say he did not offer a solution nor did he remedy my situation...

Also the delivery charges are a ripoff. I wanted to purchase 4 pieces of furniture from them and the total delivery fees were some $240 dollars. To get around the poor customer service, I attempted to utilize the website to make my purchase, but I refuse to pay the delivery cost. I just had a sick feeling..

I had cash in hand and my furniture would have been paid in full, but as I stated above if you don't want financing they are not interested. Think about it, when you finance, RTG includes the delivery charge as well so that is financed as well... What a RIPOFF...

I would like to thank Rooms to Go and it's employees at the Durham N. C store. Had it not been for their unwaivering, unaccommodating, blood thirsty, hard nosed non-negotiating way of doing business, not to mention the ridiculously high delivery charges I would have not looked elsewhere and got the bargins I did at your competitors store. Visiting your store left me totally frustrated and hopeless about finding good furniture at a fair price and left me believeing that Rooms to Go was doing me a favor selling me furniture.

So be sure and thank those sales associates and management of Rooms to Go in Durham and if this is the manner in which ALL Rooms to Go stores operate you can thank them as well.
