Singer Lazer advertized a two for one deal over channel 26. I called the 800 order number and ordered the vacuums with an advertized "free" steamer. The money was taken out of my debit account almost immediately. I didn't get any product, and after awhile sent an e-mail to the customer care line. There was no answer, just an automated response saying that I would hear from them in 24 hours.
When my statement came, they had taken out more money than I had agreed to. I knew there was something wrong. I tried to call the company but couldn't get a response, so I called the order number again. On their recorded message, they said that they weren't taking orders for singer.instead it was windstorm.
I finally got an address in Los Angeles from them. I used the phone number off the statement and called them. I finally got a response. They told me that my order was canceled and that they would return my money.
After 2 weeks, I called them again. I got someone and they told me that they were sorry, that I would have my money by Nov 15. At the time the money was taken out, I realized that there was a mistake and I checked the order number that I was given. It said that the order had been doubled. At that point, I closed my debit account so that no more money could be taken out.
I still have not received any communication, no product, no money. Please contact me. We can start a class action suit.
