RIPOFF Added Money to contract AFTER signature and without notification

My wife and I purchased $12,683.55 worth of Furniture at Furnitureland South in July: Dining Room Set, Kitchen Table Set, and King Matress Set for our bedroom. After FOUR months of nothing, I finally called them up only to hear them say our Dining/Kitchen Sets were not in. I did, however, manage to arrange delilvery for the matress so we could at least have that.

I put down 1/3 of $12,683.55, which came to $4,227.85... Leaving a balance of $8,455.70. When the matress was delivered in November, we paid an additional $1,771.69 to bring our balance due down to $6,684.01.

Praise Jesus, but a few weeks later, our dining/kitchen furniture arrived and they called to make delivery arrangements (which we still have not recieved). However, they informed me that the amount due to them is $6,984.00 not $6,684.01. After days of phone calls informing them that I HAVE a signed contract indicating what I purchased and what I owe, we finally found the problem.

After we signed our contract and left NC, they went back and erased the box springs for the mattress we originally purchased and added different, much more expensive box springs. All without my consent... They didn't even bother to "inform" me they made a mistake. They simply changed the agreed upon contract without my knowledge or permission.

For the price of the matress PLUS the "expensive as crap" box springs... I would have rather purchased them locally!
