Caps Woodworking - Frank Capuano
Caps Woodworking And Home Improvement Frank Capuano did not complete the job and walked off the jo

Frank Capuano was hired to renovate our kitchen. As Frank began demolition of our kitchen he started to complain about our plaster walls. We thought this odd as Frank boasted in his ads that he did ALL types of demolition and renovation. He made several comments such as, "I should really charge you more seeing that these walls are plaster." As Frank began his measurements for the tile floors and cabinets, he would often complain that our walls and floors were not plumb.

We thought this strange that a business establishment that specializes in renovations "of all types" would be challenged by a ranch house built in the 1950's. We thought these comments and complaints to be very unprofessional. As Frank worked he seemed very rushed, not giving much attention to detail. We found ourselves "inspecting" his work every night. As the cabinets were hung on both sides of our kitchen, my wife noticed that one side was 3 inches lower than the other. As Frank layed the tile, we also noticed that one tile was very crooked.

When confronted with these mistakes Frank would fix them, but he would hit us with excuses and complaints about our house. As an example, after the tile was layed, there were 3 tiles that were chipped. When we informed Frank he replied that we must have chipped them, and that there is no way his workers could have done this. Franks workers would often use our personal property without asking. Pails were used, our vacuum was used as well as an extension cord and kitchen shelves.

Our biggest complaint against CAPS is that they did not finish the job. Cabinet knobs and handles were left uninstalled, caulking was incomplete, coumpound was not sanded, and cabinet spacers were not used. (leading to a cabinet door scraping against a wall) Personal property was also missing after CAPS walked off the job. (extension cord, tape measure, kitchen shelves) Overall Frank rushed, did not pay attention to detail, and was not up to the challenge of a 1958 ranch, which led to his walking off the job.
