Forget that LTD Homes, LTD Real Estate, LTD Properties, Eileen Tefft and Jon Ribary are unlicensed contractors without a bond and without insurance leaving the 7 FULL TIME FIELD EMPLOYEES completely defensless if they were be injured on a site. Forget that they skirt the L&I laws every day by making no deductions and paying no federal taxes or unemployment security for their employees. Forget that they employ illegal aliens and pay them a minimal-bearly livable wage to provide for their wives and small children and then require them to work weekends paying NOTHING for overtime and sometimes not paying them anything at all for their extra work (who are they going to complain to?). Forget that they have their lead carpenters work for a lower wage dangling a large bonus at them THAT THEY PROMISE will be paid to them at the end of the projects to compensate ONLY TO FIRE THEM PRESISELY BEFORE THE END OF THOSE PROJECTS SO AS NOT TO HAVE TO PAY ANY BONUSES, forget that they have absolutely NO COMPUNCTION ABOUT BENDING ANY RULE OR BREAKING ANY LAW SO LONG AS IT PROVIDES AN EXTRA BUCK.
No. Forget all of that because now they have moved into a whole new arena. FRAUD.
I guess they got tired of ripping off their employees and subs by degrees because Friday, August 19 AS SOON AS THEY HAD AUTHORIZED THE WRITING OF APPROXIMATELY $14,000.00 IN PAYROLL AND SUB CONTRACTOR PAYMENTS THEY SCURRIED TO THEIR BANK LIKE THE ROACHES THEY ARE AND CLOSED THE BANK ACCOUNT!!!
That's right just closed it without a thought as to whether their men in the field could feed their familys or pay their bills.
And the best part is when Jon was confronted with it on Tuesday, August 23 he sat there and swore "On my word" (he said) that it was all handled and if anything came back he would take care of it IMMEDIATELY. Well, it came back today, Thursday August 25 but instead of "taking care of it" he has handed it off to his lawyer REFUSING to make good.
This is PAYROLL and not some nebulous debt that is up in dispute. And this after the guys worked TIRELESSLY to finish his illegally remodeled home at 6709 40th Ave SW, Seattle Wa 98136 So they could list it for $675,000, and the other illegally remodeled home directly behind it at 6507 40th Ave SW, Seattle 98136 (just two of the 5 illegal projects he has done in the past 3 months).
And to add icing to the cake, he is holding one mans personal tools refusing to allow him to get them, effectively stopping him from possibly recouping some of his loss and providing for his family.
If you are dealing with LTD Homes, LTD Real Estate, LTD Properties, Eileen Tefft or Jon Ribary you might want to consider this before going in. If they are willing to rip off their own people, the people that slave in the field for them day after day WHAT WILL THEY DO TO YOU???
