On mid-March, I filled out a form on the web about getting an estimate on lawncare. A few days later, G & M lawncare droppe dof a flyer with an estimate of how much it will cost to service my lawn. George Becker of G & M lawncare immediately drew the contract for work to be done on April 7.
Needless to say when that day came, there was no servic performed on my lawn. I called to G & M and George stated that they will be at my property the following week. That day came and no G & M on site but a dumpster company ready to drop off the dumpster and collect $450 for the dumpster. I was dumbfounded because G & M never said that this dumpster is coming on that day and that I will have to pay them.
I called the G & M and no return calls were made to us. I called the dollowing week and no calls, no show. I filed a complaint with BBB.
I was ripped off by G&M lawncare out of my deposit of $440 to do service on my lawn. I gave more than the 30% deposit required and this company did not perform the job on the agreed date and we were never called at all after that date.
I have placed numerous calls to the company requesting a call back but to no avail. I mailed a certified letter cancelling the job as stated on the contract but no one has refunded the money and no attempt of contact from their side has been made.
I reported this company to the BBB in April and in May but they cannot help me obtain my money back. I emailed this company as well but it looks like I will never be refunded the money. I feel that this company came to my home and decided that they will just ripped me off... Just robbed me out of my money. The only difference between this company and a street robber is that it was done with a contract and I sought their service.
This is a dishonest, unreliable, crooked business run by a husband and wife named George and Melissa Becker. How many more people will they do this to? I work hard for my money and this unscrupolous couple just simply stole my money.
