I "used" Worldwide Relocations to ship my entire belongings from New York, USA to New Zealand. They took my belongings in early Feb 05. I did all the paperwork, customs docs etc. (they seemed to know what they were genuinely doing), then payed them the agreed amount (yes, way in excess of several thousand US Dollars). At the end of Feb, they said the shipment was about to be loaded onto a container and that I would receive details and a BOL soon. After that, I heard nothing. Attempting to contact them by phone, email etc. Is impossible. Do these people not realize what they've done? They have ALL my possessions (valued in excess of USD 50,000).
At this point, I don't care whether I have to pay to get them shipped again... And I don't care if it takes 6 months or so, but the thought of losing them. I don't know... I don't know how I'll manage if they tell me everything is lost. You can't understand the hardship of this at all. Can anybody help? Yes, on reading the other postings I have just made contact with Miami FBI and Fed Maritime Commission - hopefully they will get in contact and be able to help or least let me know the procedures in these cases. But if anyone is there who can help me, please let me know. At this point I don't care if I'm being held to ransom... Fine, I'll pay shipping again. But I want my possessions.
