Purchased a Sectional with couch, love seat, chaise lounge on 04/24/04 but was delivered in September. One side of the couch broke, and we called for service. They sent someone to our home to look at the couch, and he wrote a report saying, that I told him that my son jumped on the couch and broke it, my son is only two years old and no way he would be able to break a couch. He also said that my son was jumping on the furniture while he was there, which is totally false. My wife has been called by Boscov's several times, and they told her that they will not pay for the couch, because of the report they received from the serviceman who visited my home.
In our warrenty we are supposed to have another serviceman come to visit, and Boscov's refused to send another. Stating that they are going with what the first serviceman said. My wife asked to talk to their manager, and was told no, that they will tell her the same thing. The wood on the couch was split in half, and there is another peice that is sticking out of the side of the couch.
