Samsing Refrigerator not working

Avoid!!!

My technician, John, was very nice but the service ended there. I had called them to fix my Samsung Refrigerator. Here's a rundown of the service:

1) John arrived at 9:30 but spent the first 15 minutes on the phone with his boss, per John - this will be important in a minute
2) John asked me what I thought was wrong - and I told him based on the research I had done - he needed to check the coils, fan behind the inside panel
3) He took off the back panel - it was clean. Which I already assumed. It's only 2-3 year old.
4) He attempted to take off the inside panel but could not b/c of ice.
5) He said to put a hair dryer inside for a few hours, melt the ice, and hopefully it'll work then.
6) He then charged me $127 for the service (which is the fee for 60 minutes but he spent only 40-45 minutes actually working on the fridge)
7) He charged an extra $10 for "Truck Supplies - the only thing he brought in from the truck was a broom and dustpan - he could have used mine, I stood there and watched him the whole time -
8) Told me to call back "if it doesnt work" - That advice only cost me $137!!!
9) I ended up fixing my fridge by myself and I didn't use a hair dryer. Mr. Handyman may do good work when they actually work but this type of service borders on unethical and it being a racket. Avoid and find someone else with lower service fees in case you get the same run around.
