I called when I got an error code on my fridge, back in May. They wouldn't even troubleshoot it until I got the receipt information. Loews was awesome in supplying that for me. However when I called LG with the info they requested, they said I needed to have it physically in hand. Did that, next they said it was an uncommon issue and a supervisor would have to call me back. One week, no response despite several calls. Repeated delays UNTIL THE WARRANTY EXPIRED! Then all I got was "Sorry, go through your extended warranty." and when I said that it broke before the warranty expired, they miraculously had no record that I had ever called even once!!! (before this date they did see the calls I had made)
Absolutely no accountability. Very crappy of a company to delay and delay until that warranty expires.
