On 3/19/04 We had United come give us a quote on a new AC unit.
We have lived in our home for 10 years. Our house is 20 years old. We were planning to put our house up for sale. We knew we needed a new AC unit. Well my husband and I thought since our unit was 20 years old lets replace the furance also. We thought it would be best to have the AC And Furance unit replaced.
We never had a problem with heat EVER. Well 11-29-04 we were started to get cold so we turned the heat on.
It did not work. That really stinks because our old furance worked fine. So I got out our paper work from when we had the new unit installed every number was changed I could not find anyone to help me.
We have a 20 year warrenty on the furnace What good does that do?
Finally I found the sales person card he had left with me back in March it had a local Atlanta office Number.
They sent someone out here of course I had to pay Why I should it is brand new and under warrenty. The guy that came out has been out 15 times since 12-3-04 Today is 12-25-04 Christmas I still have no heat I have 2 young kids and a husband that are very cold. I do not know what to do. My old heat system worked why did I get a new one? For the resale value of my house now I cant sell my house because of UNITED
PLease if anyone has any advise please help us!!!
