On 11/11/04, I contacted America's Choice/Florida Door Co.in Jacksonville, Florida to connect the cables to the garage. Mr. Chris arrived took one look at the cables and said they were good, but then looked at my springs and told me that they were no good and even if he put the cable back on that the garage still will not work properly. I was charged $402.95.
My husband called this company and was told the the transaction was not in the system and they would call us back. Also, during the phone conversation my husband asked about the AAA discount which Chris only took $5 off, but the guy on the phone stated that it should have been $10 off.
We never received a call back from this company. We took the old springs to another garage door company and the springs are in perfect condition. Basically, we got ripped off. Something needs to be done about this company and we may have to seek legal action.
