Lou Tufillaro, owner of Dreambuilders in Holly Springs is nothing but a smooth talking crook. He's eager to get your deposit check and will wheel and deal like any used car salesman promising you the moon and delivering crap. Sign a contract, give him a hefty deposit, and wait... Wait... Wait... Wait, they never show up, don't return phone calls, and do crap work.
When you do speak to him, be ready for all kinds of excuses for holdups; it's never his fault. Dreambuilders puts on the guise of a big company but is nothing more than Lou and a couple of incompetent high school part timers. The more folks I speak to, the more I find "oh yeah, I've heard of that guy. Don't waste your time.
My neighbor got ripped off by him too. On and on I hear about friends, neighbors, and colleages who have been taken to the cleaners by this fool. I guess he used to work for "all decked out" in apex, nc and has been doing this for years.
On the surface, his woodwork has nice details and craftsmanship but he knows you'll never see whats underneath. He builds outdoor kitchens that fall apart, no wonder, the cabinet is interior untreated wood that rots out and warps. He installs pools and has no business doing so.
He cuts corners wherever possible and doesn't include everything needed to finish the job. "Oh you wanted me to fill that trench after laying the pipe? That's an extra grand, that's not included in the price." Give me a break you incompetent boob! Everything is an add-on; This is classic bait and switch. Lies and deceipt abound. I and others gave him money for tasks never completed.
