My company sent me a zip file to download today. Windows Live Messenger insisted that I virus scan this file. I have not had this happen before. I have been using Norton antivirus for quite some time. It said I had to find an executable file for my virus software or download Windows Live OneCare Safety Scanner. I could not find an executable file for Norton and so downloaded the Windows Live software so I could get this safe file from my employer. I've never been forced to virus scan before. It just bugs me that Microsoft always seems to find new ways to force me to use their software.
