Restocking Fee Assessed for Defective Merchandise Returns

DataVis may be the toughest for defective product returns. You'll devote hours waiting in the event that you contact them. They cause you to contact them to obtain RMA# and certainly will cause you to purchase your personal delivery. They may impose 15% restocking charge even if them is actually faulty. Should you contact them to credit back the restocking charge, they'll provide you with runaround. You'll have to occupy issue with Buy.com, eBay, or Amazon if bought through them or your charge card organization by performing chargeback. DataVis has got the worst customer support. P.S. We've purchased around 200 notebooks from DataVis this season alone and that I can't think that the two occasions we've to come back a product back again to them as faulty, they struck us with return shipment cost and restocking charge. They're certainly a store to prevent no matter what which is originating from business operator that has had several POs with DataVis.

Order #62085351 - Toshiba Qosmio X775-Q7270 17.3" Laptop, Intel Core i5-2410M (2.3GHz as much as 2.9GHz with Turbo-Boost), 6GB DDR3 Storage, 640GB HDD, DVD Super Multi-Push, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M, Windows-7 Residence Quality 64Bit - The laptop had large 2-3mm size dark dead pixel in left-center section of DIRECTED display plainly noticeable on white background. We delivered the faulty notebook via RMA #95098 and UPS monitoring 1Z5E5W920341820003. DataVis forced an unjustified 15% restocking charge of $164.63 on 9/30. We named DataVis on 9/30,10/3, and again on 10/5. On 10/5, we were informed by DataVis the restocking charge could be acknowledged however the restocking charge for another return wouldn't. We've waited but still haven't obtained any breaks for restocking charges.

Order #61953191 - 1 of 7 notebooks bought had white caught/dead pixel on bottom middle of DIRECTED display noticeable on dark history. We delivered the faulty notebook via RMA #95193 and UPS monitoring 1Z5E5W920341190944. DataVis forced an unjustified 15% restocking charge on 9/30. We named DataVis on 9/30,10/3, and again on 10/5. On 10/5, we were informed by DataVis the restocking charge could be acknowledged however the restocking charge for another return wouldn't. We've waited but still haven't obtained any breaks for restocking charges. We've near to $1million YTD in POs with Buy.com (as DataVis was promoting Market product). We'd not create a clam if there is not warranted cause. DataVis unlike other retailers we purchase from doesn't actually supply return delivery hotel and demands client to get all expenses of return.
