Promised $50 Visa Gift Card Never Received and Now Expired

I was told if I ordered internet service from AT&T I would receive a 50 dollar visa gift card. I never received it and now they are saying I was to apply for this. Well if I have service through them they should automatically send my rebate. Now they are saying that my rebate has expired. Could you help me to obtain it?
