Original Question: CUSTOMER SERVICE Question: II received the worst customer service from you. I would
NEVER recommend a family, friend to Nextel. I was planning on
Disconnecting a phone I had and called "Customer Service" the contract
Would be expiring in 4 months. I was told that I could put the phone on
standby until May, and then cancel. I went ahead and did that. I then
Looked at my bill and realized that the contract had been extended 6
Months. I called back and was told I was being penalized. I said ok,
Then I will be able to cancel in October "NO one told me about that, but
I guess". Last week I was reviewing my bill and the contract had been
Extended until Jan I called and was SHOCKED when I was told that I
had been misinformed and would have to get on a plan and ride out the
Plan. I explained to the person that if I had known this back in
November I would never have put the phone on standby. I would have rode
out the four additional months and cancel the phone. I am being
Penalized for your error. Now I am stuck until January with a
Phone that I have no use. I am disgusted with the way I was treated.
