I bought Norton 360 with three permits and mounted them on two pcs - a classic pc along with a notebook. I respected the safe offsite copy provided by Norton could be open to me when required. Before I'd the notebook 2 yrs it "died" and that I was not able to get something off the drive. I bought a brand new notebook, employed my next permit to set up Norton 360 onto it, and approached Norton (Symantec) to demand they move my copy in the "lifeless" laptop towards the new laptop and so I wouldn't drop my info. After over five hours on livechat with four specialists over two times nobody could easily get it through their mind that used to do not need the copy from my completely new computer mounted onto the brand new computer - I needed the copy in the "lifeless" notebook to become used in my new pc. All of them kept showing me there is no copy for that new pc! Duh, it had been a brand new pc and had no copy! A mobile call was to get been designed to me within 48-hours but never arrived. I sent and requested they supply me having a computer drive containing my copy but haven't obtained that possibly! I noticed a current post in a girls journal displaying another woman who'd exactly the same issue together. Our pc repair person stated he quit promoting Norton items for this very cause - customer care was seriously lacking. I removed the Norton 360 item from my computers and mounted Microsoft Onecare instead.
