I purchased a cricket crosswave wifi hotspot, with the intension of using it with my laptop when I was somewhere without wifi connection. Took it home followed the instructions to set it up, but when it came time to get it going, a message kept coming up not connected to the internet. At first I thought I had set it up wrong, but on my laptop it was giving me the impression that it was connected. I tried also to set it up with my ereader with the same results, called customer service, the person was helpful but even that was not much help. I went back to the store, the person there tried to set it up for me but had no luck either. They tried to tell me it was a problem with my laptop but when they tried to connect with their smartphone, was not connecting either. I told the person I have 2 other items that require wifi connection if I want to go on the internet, was not connecting to those either. Then they told me if I want to return the item, they can only give me the money back for the item, but not for the activation fee. I was not able to use the item at all returned it before 30 days and you can only give back a partial refund??? Never again will I get anything from this company.
