Staples advertised 20% reward with $50 HP printer ink purchase. I bought $50 and used a Staples reward certificate for partial payment. The clerk thought it was okay and wouldn't affect the 20% reward, checked with a manager who verified this. Not so - Staples Rewards treated it as a $30 purchase. ...
