Shoes refused for refund as worn after one day at school

I purchased a pair of shoes from their store, then found the same pair for half the price at Foot Locker. I tried to get my money back, but they said the shoes looked worn, although they were not really worn much. I tried them on and wore them to school one day. I want my money back!
